Thanks for the comments,
Due to the cost of the Speedie I spent this afternoon photographing 'our' watches for insurance purposes!

This is one I took of my Speedie:

And this is my CW C6 LE:

And my CW C8IPK:

Why doesn't the Speedmaster come with the Omega Logo? Is it a Homage watch or it it that because it is a celebration watch it comes with a different logo?

It's the 50th Anniversary Gold Patch model, one of only 5957 made.

In response to Josejmarti,question.

The 50th Anniversary Speedmaster,does
have the famous Omega Logo. It is in red
to match the lettering OMEGA.

The gold "seamonster" on the dial
is the logo found on the 1957-Present
non-see through case backs.

This Seamonster is found in the middle
of the case back.

The seamonster was used on all Speedies and
the seahorse was used on the early Seamaster Devilles.

The original Moonwatch, has the words
Flight tested by NASA,engraved around the case back.

The 20th Anniversary Edition has the words,
Apollo 11 July 20,1969. Engraved around the
case back.

The current batch of Speedies all have
First Worn on the Moon and Flight tested by NASA
are both present on the case back along with
the Seamonster.

Congratulations on a great watch that has a very special place in my heart.

Here is mine, circa 1974 with a 861 movement.
