Wow...thanks for the continued kind words and congrats guys - Nabco, cfoster, Teddy,  & Phil...thankyou.gif

Teddy, I'm definitely impressed with the build quality of this Fortis MarineMaster....it's really the details and tight tolerances on the case and bracelet of this one.  I also really like the dial design of the Fortis timepieces...they really all just say "I'm a Fortis, nothing else"...unique to their own.  I think that Sinn may be the only other brand that I can think of (although you all know I'm definitely a watch rookie) that has "that look".

Knowing how you like big, beefy, substantial timepieces, just realize that this Fortis is not one of those hulking wrist presence pieces.  It is very "classic" with 42mm case diameter, 44mm bezel diameter (which really helps with the wrist presence IMO), but at only 13mm thick, it stays in that classic size which is nice for a change when you need something that can slip under a buttoned sleeve.

...and Teddy, my mother always said that we can't ALL be Super Moderators when we grow up  ;) subtlelaugh.gif subtlelaugh.gif ;) ...imagine how boring the world would be. :D ;)

It is definitely a keeper from my standpoint.

Thanks again for the kind words all.:)

That Fortis really looks like a serious and well-built watch ideal for all sorts of rumble tumble. Wear it in good healthhand6.gif.
