Wow Jayo!!! Congrats on the truly stunning, gorgeous Grand Seiko.  I have never seen this model before and your pics/comments about the unique sapphire bezel peaked my interest. I looked into this model a little more and see that it is a sapphire bezel with lumed numbers under it!!! Very unique design and look.cool10.gif Love the look/build of this one...This one has definitely just been added to my "grail" list.hearteyes.gif Again...Big Congrats!!! 40 Years Ago: Seiko launched the Astroquartz,the first quartz watch in the world. It was capable of 36,000 vb/h. 40 Years Later: The technical complexity of the Spring Drive Movement is phenomenal to say the least, with a Power Reserve of 72 hours. It's considered to be a mechanical movement that is controlled by two capacitors which allows this watch to beat at an incredible 60,000 vb/h. This achievement has given Seiko a COSC rating of +/-1 second per day or (+/-15 second per month). Which is astonishing considering the fact,that many Swiss Watches on the market are rated at +/-4-5second per day. I hope you enjoy your new Seiko and congratulations. Cheers, Simon
