So Ive been wanting an Orsa for a while, I cannot find the older models I want on the used market so I ordered a new Monstrum from Martin yesterday.. Cannot wait to receive it.. wonder how long it'll take... counting the days... don't you hate that?:)

He has two color option left:

I picked the White/orange, I love how clear and simple it is, and I have too many black face watches.

I liked the new Sea Angler but it is a Quartz mvt and I really wanted an Auto.

otherwise, I would have picked this one:

Still hoping to find one of the older Auto Sea Angler or pro diver...

Will post again when received....party.gif

WOuld love some suggestions for some cool straps for it...

thanks

Brice

First off Brice, Congrats on the new Monstrum and let me be the first to say Welcome to the club!

You will see many of them here, from Oscar's personel LE to many of the modded versions (including my totally bead-blasted mod).

Secondly, in the ORSA sub-forum there have been quite a few topics concerning strap options from bracelets, leather and NATO/ ZULU straps, check it out lots of pictures and feedback.

Bill

Copy cat! lol

My Monstrum is my daily driver, I love this watch. I think Brice if you saw it in person you would have had one long time ago :) Like my Sea Angler too.

Hey Ivan you have the same Monstrum??
I thought yours had green in it. The green one was my fave or blue but both were sold out.:( only had two colors to chose from and definitely didn't want black. $225 was a No brained:)
We'll have to call eachother before the nextmeet sowe don't both wear it!;)
I didn't know you had the Sea Angler. You mean the new Quartz version? I am looking for the one they used to make in Auto.

sorry Ivan. Wasn't planned. I knew you had a Orsa, thought it was an older model though. I'll have to loook at that pic you had posted on CE but on my iPhone most of those are small.
May have found an older auto Sea Angler but he wants 499$!!

hey thanks
I am looking forward to wearing the Mostrum :) and do hope I like it as much as I think I will from the pics of it.

I thought $499 was a little steep even for an older Orsa but I guess you're right. Plus I think that specific one is rare.

as for the Sea Angle I am looking at, owner says it has the ETA 2836-2 mvt ( but wasn't it a 2824-2?), and has a black dial with white minue markings and orange minute numbers around the edge of it, a stainless steel bezel, saphire crystal and the Orsa rubber band. I really like it but wonder if it is worth 499 after buying a Monstrum :)

Paxman, seller says Orsa did a special on this Sea Angler, one of the few modded with special dial and mvt changed from the original ETA 2824-2 to the 2836-2. That's in part why he wants $499
