Very early this morning I pulled the trigger on a Gevril First Generation Day Date in 18K & steel. Using the rare Gevril C0110 auto movement this one is only the second one I have seen for sale in several years. With the exception of the Perpetual Calendar and the ladies models, I now have at least one example of every first Generation Gevril. Since the Perpetual Calendar was limited to only 50 ever made and then only in solid 18K gold, I suspect that I may never get one of those. But, I can still hope.  I will post pictures as soon as It arrives.

Congrats on your Ebay win of the Gevril day/Date. I would have grabbed it but I already have one. Only 1st gen I am missing is the midsixe Day/Date.I have all the others in both sizes. The PerpCal was offered in SS or SS/gold side ring in addition to solid 18K. I have seen both for sale on ebay and other sites. I own No. 10 of 50 in solid gold.
