Got today my new Airboss Mach IV. The watch is in like new condition, and was shipped with original box, manual, warranty card and even face and back protectors. Leather strap is new as well.

Thanks Hucky, watch is as you described: as good as it gets.

One of the things that makes this watch even more attractive to me is that, as per what I have researched, it comes with a Unitas 6498-2 movement. The 6498-2 has a 56 hour reserve, 21,600 BPH, and is available only in Top and COSC grades. The only difference between the Top and the COSC is that the latter is adjusted in two additional positions and has a serial stamped number. The rest of the components are the same (Glucydur balance wheel, Anachron hairspring, Incablock shock absorber, the whole nine yards...).

So this baby becomes the best movement in my collection! I am timing it now, but do not expect any surprises other than becoming the best mechanical timekeeper I have.

Congrats for the nice hand cranker! I'm also a big fan of Unitas 6497 /6498, love their music since it's a loud movement! ThumbsUp02.gif

Have had it in my wrist the whole day today and it is by far the most comfortable watch I have, even considering it is is 45mm w/o crowns, and 55 mm lug to lug. I can barely feel it. The Italian leather strap is really superb.

Do not know why they do a watch with 23mm lugs, though...

Awesome watch, congrats!

Hucky's great, I bought his black Sea Angler ETA 2824 a couple of weeks ago!

Great painless transaction!
