Was strolling by the good ol' bargain bin again, and I saw this now discontinued Seiko Honda F1 sitting in the corner, all forlorn like.  Kind soul that I am...

I reckon this is one of the less common models from the line, the flagship being the larger cushion-case model with the perforated leather strap.

Nice PVC unidirectional bezel and "Panda" subdials.  Ubiquitous 7T62 quartz chronograph movement.

Now the rubber strap...I wonder if Paul (ORB) can make me a leather "rally" style?

Quite a tidy size on the wrist.

That looks ok, Jonathan. I am sure a leather rally will complement the entire look. Wear it in good healthhand6.gif

IMHO Seiko is the most undervalued watch out there. Great history and technology at rock-bottom prices!! ENJOY!!

wow, congrats! I love Seiko, and F1. My first nice watch was a Seiko Chrono when I was around 15. I still have it. I should post photos. I also really like my SKX007J on the anvil bracelet. putting it on now!

I'm old enough to remember
Seiko Automatic Chronograph 6138-7000 GE
with the dual up/down registers.
This watch had the slide ruler bezel
with the pushers on the side, from 1975.
