Hey i am a newcomer to the watch game and just bought my first watch, Zeno Watch Basel Pilot Chrono. I love it, it's a lot of quality for the price in my opinion.

Here it is:

Since i have got a swiss mechanical aviation chronograph, next quest is a classic diver ala submariner.
My question to this forum is, what is the best quality "submariner'esque" in the 1000$ price range?

Good watch from a great watch house. That 7750 is pure reliabilityhand6.gif.

As to your question on the best bang for 1,000 bucks, I guess you just triggered a WIS-war. I'll reserve my input after I get some cover in my bunker from incoming missiles.subtlelaugh.gif

Warm welcome to 3T:)

Welcome and congrats, this certainly is a great looking chrono with a great mvt! Well done!

Give Steinhart a look for your next piece.

Also Ollech & Wajs makes a great watch with SWISS ETA mvt at an unbeatable price inlcuding divers and Aviation watches

check this site to see models from both brands

Congrats! As said Jeff, you can't go wrong with a 7750...
1000buks for a diver: I would have go for the Benarus 1km for 1300buks... Seems to give much quality and practicity for the price.
