Hi everybody! I'll take 2 planes next tuesday to go to the LNG(Liquefied natural gas) plant for 2 weeks. I wasn't using any watch there before but since last year, I was wearing my Tissot Seastar: It took very well the beating. But I came across some good price sub case without date magnifier(I prefer...)and sapphire glass with AR coating... So I decided to make me up a work-watch: The sub case is not taking place on my wrist and with a good genuine US issued black strap, it will do the perfect trick under the leather glove in my 12 hours action days. My watchmaker made it ready today. Movement choice: The 17 jewels 2801-2 ETA manual winding. A beating-proof movement who's precise(mine was timed/tested by my watchmaker) and proven to be trusted since long. It got as I understood it, the same platform as the 2824-2 and others in the same kind... Here's some pics;) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

That looks fantastic and I like the mix of sub case and hand cranking movement. Is water resistance at all a concern for you during your long and brutal days?
