Welcome back Simon, two great looking watches, I actually prefer the rectangular one over the round one...it has a more classic vintage look IMO...but two great watches anyway. ![]()

Thanks Nabco, It's great to be back, kinda miss not having to keep up with everyone's new arrivals, nice to see some fabulous timepieces every now and then. Scoring the Art Deco Movado would probably be my highlight of 2010...simply because it was such a rare opportunity that I really couldn't pass up. It is a 17 Jewel Manual Wind whereas, for my 1957 Movado Tempo-Matic is a 17 Jewel Automatic. Cheers, Simon

Thank you for the kind comments Omegaman and Natevan. Sadly, you really don't see many Art Deco Movado watches in both Mens and Ladies sizes, probably because of the availability of parts. I have been wearing one on each wrist,it looks odd to some people. When asked I just say that I am keeping track of the accuracy on one of them. ![]() Cheers, Simon Attachment: Art Deco Movado and Movado Tempo-Matic.jpg 003.jpg (Downloaded 15 times)

Great watches there, really classy dress types. Try taking a picture by the window in daylight no flash, against a white background. Your camera should have a little flower setting for close up shots? I would really like to see a good picture of these....that would be great!! smile8.gif

Thanks ndburley for the advice...I'll try that when in the next few days. The last photo was shot at 1:10AM with the Macro setting in the on position. Cheers, Simon
