Looky here... It's a double Artego arrival....actually the Black arrived earlier this week but the blue one just arrived, so since I happened to have my camera I snapped a couple of bad shots ;) . I don't have a lot of time before my next call so I'll post my impressions and more shots later or tomorrow... but I wanted to post this because I bought the two with the intention of keeping one only. I could not decide which to buy mistake.gifand was a little scared to order the blue... the site pic kinda did not do it for me but Oscar's did and blue dials always are of interest to me... so I figured I'd take the chance and order it too just in case!subtlelaugh.gif I figured best way to chose is have them both side by side!ThumbsUp02.gif

I did not even really check out the black one until today, barely opened it on day 1 as it's been so crazy at work! Both are still wrapped from head to toe :) in that plastic film as I want to sell one while brand new... So here I am with these two beauties and guess what... it ain't easier with them side by side!!!crap.gif So I got try and just sit them on my wrist and keep comparing them.. and maybe flip a coin to decide which watch to flip....subtlelaugh.gif

Anyway watch is super heavy, really a beefy and solid diver with a cool case, real nice dial with deep color and great raised hour indices... Bracelet is a beast. Quality seems high for the $, though the bezel paint isn't perfect but acceptable. Looking forward to deciding which to keep so I can actually wear itcrap.gif

I am curious, which would yuo keep... please don't say both!subtlelaugh.gif

More later

Cheers, Brice

You should have got the Orange.......

snoopy1.gif just kidding. I like the blue but what bugs me, and it seemed the same on Marks Orange, is the chapter ring, which I think is made from a different material appears to be a different shade. Could just be theCamera_photos.gi's. Guess it depends if yu want to add a little color to your collection.

I'd keep whichever one stands out most in the watch box-

Both look cool ThumbsUp02.gif so it's a tough choice!

the watch is so nice, you had to buy it twice.

sorry, had to say it.

really cool pieces! I know everyone has Black and could be considered overdone... but something about this set up just looks perfect with the black. dial, hands, chapter ring, markers and bezel work well in black.  99% of the of the time i would go away from the black, but in this case the whole is more than the sum of it's parts.

Mike

I think you nailed it about the black... Typically I would easily go for the blue but this one is a beauty...:)

I would keep both subtlelaugh.gif
Sorry had to say it, I am leaning more to the Black myself but I am not really a Blue type of guy.

Awesome Brice...I would go with the Black too, I think the Blue would grow on me but at first glance I like the Black

Both are great... Black dial is deep! Blue is unique!

Well I've decided.... Black is staying! Flipping the blue and sizing the black on tomorrow:) can't wait to wear the Artego now. It's a great looking diver!!
The blue is just not my kind of blue though it certainly stands out mote than the black version. Was afraid to get tired of it or not wear it. Plus I have three blue dials already and a blue Orsa on
the way:)
so tomorrow the blue is up for sale! What's next now??:)

thanks all. I'll be posting more about the Artego once I remove all the protective plasti. And size it. Brice

Oh man...I can see I'm too late to influence your decision Brice, but I agree with Mike's comments above and agree with your decision.woohoo.gif

Both are fantastic (don't get me wrong), but the sum of the Black version's parts put it ahead IMO...Mike said it best..."dial, hands, chapter ring, markers and bezel work well in black"...they really do, and that ceramic dial material gives these Artego's a very sweet and unique look (in both the Blue and the Black).thumbsup.gif

...But, if you have second thoughts and decide to keep both, you clearly cannot loose because they both look great!Thumbsup3.gif

Brice I think you are right to keep the black. I feel like Mike in that I would have thought I would shy away from the black is being to run of the mill and have gone with blue, but the combo of the deep black dial and black bezel really looks tight. Good move putting them both up in pix. In my head I said blue, but when I saw them both the black grabbed me by the short and curlies!bb.gif

It really doesn't matter since you obviously missed the boat and neglected to get an orange...dog smile.gif

Congrats Brice!....2 awesome dials for sure but the black dial is more conventional even though I really like my blue dial....can't really go wrong with either dial imo...when in doubt keep them both!happy guy.gif
