Picked this one up in a trade the other day. As you have probably noticed, I have been wearing it since Saturday and enjoying it.

Per Paxmans request I will give a brief overview and thoughts.

1st I took some measurements and was amazed. From 2 to 4 the watch measured just under 43mmoh my.gifwhich is probably why I find it to be the perfect size. It plays way bigger on the wrist, perhaps because of the 48mm with crown or the 51mm lug to lug.

The real standout feature of this watch is the dial, in the first pic you get a fair idea being taken under natural light. It is metalic grey which looks really rich and beautiful in person. I appreciate the simple design of the markers, bold, but uniform and balanced. The date is another feature I like, white on black. I dont know if this is an oversized font, but I can read it easily which is not the case anymore on most of my watchesthumbsup.gifThe crown gaurd, though large, as is the crown, looks and functions well. I believe that is because of the bubble caseback which elevates it off the wrist. While we are on the caseback, you can see it is well done, engraving is deep and clear. This model clearly states it ticks with an ETA 2824-2, important because Helson makes the same model with a Miyota..in case you go shoppingsubtlelaugh.gif

What sets this piece off for me is the mesh bracelet. It adds a classy look to the watch and is well made with a scissor style divers clasp. While Mcwright feels "if it dont glow it has to go" for me anymore, "if it don't come on steel...we have no deal"dog smile.gif

The watch is rated 2000m WR and has an automatic HEV valve. Frankly, I wish these boutique brands would keep things at 500m which would allow for flatter casebacks..which is my only and very slight negative, as the watch does stand tall at 17mm.

Well, I've bored you enough, a few pics:

Thanks for taking the time.....

Lume shot, and it glows all night no problem:

Thanks for taking the time to put your thoughts down, Tony. I am intrigued by these watches and like the look. I'm glad to hear they are as impressive in the flesh as they are in photos. I like you new mantra... I'm a bracelet guy for the most part...

Congrats on a clean cool diver!

William and Mark thankyou.gif. Very impressive watch from design to fit and finish....seems I might have erred by not getting in the pre-order Omega homage Peter is putting out.
