Yesterday I was at the mall and stumbled upon this, the Rolex Milgauss. Because I knew this line was small at 40mm, I never paid any attention to it all these months --- until my AD buddy told me a story about the model, about how simple the design was and about all the modern features and technology that was inside the case. I guess I fell for it and after 2 cups of coffee, took it home.

These are Q&Ds. Longer review to follow soon.

These shots taken yesterday at the AD. Sorry for the yellowish tint....yellow lights at the AD's store. Shots taken above the glass counter at the store. I was wearing my Laco 55mm Flieger at the time and it is being shown here just as a reference to relative watch sizes.

Here's a closer shot. This photo was taken today at home.

Hope you like it.

Congrats amigo! I may have a little preference to the green ring model...Maybe because that's the one I saw most. But looking twice at this one, I must say that it look sobber in a fine way and still have many cool details like the engraved chapter ring as the orange/black contrast.
I love the simple case design of those models: It's a classic and will never get old or out of fashion.
Seeing the pic in the daily show, I must say that it's snugg perfect on you, even with 40mm size.
It nearly look like a 45mm because your wrist isn't too big for itexcellent.gif
Please take some more pics: Maybe a flash will take up the contrast between the black dial and the orange markers/second hand...
Don't forget some more technical data amigo: This is a special watch!
Enjoy this superbe piece!

Big congrats, Jeff!  I love that rendition.  I actually owned the "greenie" but didn't like the green tint as much and flipped it.  That classic lightning bolt seconds hand is so cool!
Man, you are on the roll!dancing.gif
