This one was a bit of an impulse buy  as many are I guess... but really was not looking to buy one but always liked them. Ran across this one, new and and a good price... that was it. I am not going to write much on it as Chris and others have done such a great job before describing the watch, which is getting quite popular it seems. The design reminds me of a Sinn watch. I love the dial and hands combo, I wish it did not have minute markers on the bezel all around since they are repetitive with the outter minute chapter of the dial and it gets a tad busy for my taste. I would have stopped them at 15 or 20. The crown guard is the only other thing I am not too crazy about. Its size and shape doesn't seem quite right, almost like an afterthought but not bothering me in a major way. I like the rubber strap on it, I prefer it to the ones I saw on Bracelet and I think this one will go great with a variety of straps!  I am going to try a leather strap next. The watch is somewhat large but nothing crazy, small compared to a Helson for example. Lume is top notch as expected, takes little light to get it going and it glows strong!! I love the case/bezel shape, its profile and the size is the sweet spot for me. Perfect proportions on the strap even on my smallish wrist. Another plus is the drilled thru lugs making strap changes a breeze. Only dislike here is the 20mm lugs for this size watch, should be 22mm IMO. The Mvt is the non hacking and non winding (CRAZY!!! ) 4R15, which I know... nothing about except that... it does not wind and I like winding my watches! This one is a shaker!Specs: Seiko Diver's watch automatic. Caliber: 4R15 (22 Jewels) Hardlex crystal - Flat. Black dial with large numerals. Water resistant 200 meters Stainless steel caseback, Screw in crown Lugs width 20mm Case width : 44mm Case width : 46mm with crown Case thickness: 13mm These were my first impressions after wearing it just a couple of hours last night and tonight.... Overall it is a cool looking watch, a la Sinn, and affordable. Can't really fault the watch for the $... though a winding mvt would have been nice for me. It makes for a cool week-end watch and one I wouldn't mind using during outdoors activities. Thanks for reading! Brice sorry, I only have a few Q&Ds from the office

Congrats Brice!!! I agree with all of the detailed comments you made on this one, both pro and con...nicely detailed impressions and you are right on with this one amigo! Yes, the 4R15 is non-hackable and non-handwindable...but the Seikos really do come to life quickly and take a very, very fast wind with a few shakes in my experience. The hackable, and hand-windable 6R15 movement would be nice to have in this one, but then, of course, the price would creep up accordingly. A nicely sized, and nicely built Seiko...Enjoy it in the best of health!!!!

Have fun with this one Brice! Yes, I agree with Chris: Seiko should create more models with the 6R15...Also a diver with the 6R20(power reserve) variant could be something attractive.

Brice... I can see this as being an impulse purchase... I really would put my money on assuring you're going to flip it really soon, bit in the meantime... ENJOY.... It really does have a sinn-like feel about it, makes it all the more appealing...
