I wanted to share a few pics and impressions of the Jean Marcel Atlas I received in a trade with my friend Oscar. I've always liked this one from the day I saw it. Now that it is on the wrist I'm thrilled.

The cushion case gives this one a nice size to it, though it is just 42mm from 3-9 but 44 from 2-8. Plays larger than it is. The biggest plus for me is its 13mm thickness..perfect IMHO. With all the behemoth thick divers and such out there, this is a pleasant change.

The dial is stunning in many small ways. The raised indicies are nicely balanced around the dial and the red accented chapter ring gives it a sporty, yet refined look. The hands are a bit small, but work well and the red tipped second hand is a nice touch against the white minute track of the dial.

The bracelet is a gem. 22mm, which just works for me well. The center links are brushed perfectly without any uneven suration...is that the right word LOL marks in it, and the polished outer links adds a classy feel to it. Though scratch magnets. I was a little worried when I saw the dual deployant without 1/2 links, but the fit is perfect.

I did not take any pics of the caseback though it is an exibition one. Inside ticks I believe, because of the day/date complication an ETA 2836? or 34?. Appears to be the higher grade ETA movement.

Anyway, here are a few feeble picture, not sure where the little skills I had have went of late, but enjoy.

Sorry I missed this Tony. Nice looking what I would call sport watch. Bridges the gap and should be versatile. Plus it's sublimely sweet!ThumbsUp02.gif
