Picked this up used but mint and couldn't be more pleased with the watch. I've been in a WIS funk as of late with really only some things here and there speaking to me. Snowflake sub speaks to me...

This is the helenarou version at 40mm with 20 mm lugs on the sub style case. Ceramic bezel, sapphire crystal, snowflake dial and hands, solid bracelet with a nice solid clasp and ratcheting extension. The first owner of the watch brushed the bracelet's center links which is cool by me. Lume on the dial and hands is very good if not excellent.WR is rated to only 5ATM. I may have a look to see what type of gaskets the watch has and then seal it up tight... In short all the right bits.

My conversation with the seller started when I just missed a dated model he was selling. After a little conversation I was able to talk him out of this one and I went with this no date variant as I felt it enhanced the overall sterility of the piece. And that sterility is exactly what draws me to the watch.

Movement is an "authentic" ETA 2824-2.I would assume the vendor overstates this fact simply because we all know there many clones out there particularly when dealing with this type of sourcing. Regardless, timing is very good with a loss of about 5 seconds over the last 36 hours.

Some horrendous shots (freaking cold out and no time for lights...sorry for my reflection...I'm the orange blob!)

Thanks for taking a look.

AWSOME!! big congrats on this beauty!
You have me thinking about getting a Helenarou instead of the W3 version. I'll have to chekc this one and compare prices too.
This one is gorgeous and looks very well finished! Solid too! I love the cramic bezel, nice touch!

Wear it in good health!

That is a cool one Mark!

Love the combination of the sterile dial, no date, and the Snowflake hands!thumbsup.gif

I have to say that this has to be one of the best deals going for the feature set that is supplied here...I mean, I really have to scratch my head as to how Helenarou can provide this for under $250 brand new (and you likely got an even better deal on this preowned one) with Sapphire crystal, Ceramic bezel, solid bracelet with nice clasp construction, and and "authentic" swiss ETA 2824-2 with upgraded Incabloc shock protection (like you said, they are going out of their way to clearly say this is not a chinese clone movement beating inside).

Enjoy it Mark!

It's a beauty, Mark, and I love it and you know it. That pip and sterile dial really work perfectly. Snowflake hands are also absent in my collection thus really ogled at the Helenarou. 40mm only? Geeesssshhh...it looks like a 42mm to me.

Enjoy it in good health for a long time, amigo

Nice! I prefer it all brushed on the bracelet too! Here's a picture from your movement: I don't catch the usual Incabloc spring there...Seems to be an Etachoc Novodiac spring. Movement looks like standard 2824-2.

Those Helenarou are extremly hard to beat for the price: Specialy since they went for the ceramic bezels...

You're welcome Jeff! At list I appriciate that they stoped to use those golden mvts in those watches: I really prefer them nickel plated.

Big congrats on a great watch, Mark!
I have the date version, and I'm absolutly loving it!
Although mine is also a 50mWR, it tested fine to 200m without any mod whatsoever!  I did grease the main seal, though.
