This has been one of those days! First my IT guy attempts to replace my computer and I spent the rest of the day trying to get the new one to work well enough to get some work done today. Of course my phone wouldn't stop ringing. And, finally after my new gem arrived, I found the batteries were dead in my camera!

Anyway... the best of my day was when this semi-grail arrived today! I have been drooling over an X-Wind for over a year now; waiting for the right time, price and place to get one. Brother Meir at Ashford made this happen by meeting all the criteria! First, I want to mention that Meir was outstanding in this deal. There was a small hitch in the order. I sent a PM thru our site to Meir and he said he would have someone look at it. By 6:30pm I had an email from one of his associates stating that the issue had been resolved!! Awesome customer service, Kudo's Meir!

Last, but certainly not least, the watch. It is the yellow dial X-Wind. It is a bit bigger than I expected a pilot chrono to be. The size rivals some of my divers, pretty cool IMO! I love the mix of classic style with a contemporary case and the yellow dial is striking, certainly a stray from my typical black dial divers.

Well... here are the pictures, please excuse the quality I had to use my i-Phone. Thanks for looking!

Bill...Big congrats on your first Hamilton!!!! party.gif

...and great choice in it being the X-Wind!!!Thumbsup3.gif

A truly fantastic and unique piece IMO (I still love my black dial version X-Wind and this reminds me that I need to give it some much deserved wrist time!).

Absolutely agree...dimensions are substantial (both diameter and thickness), and in the sweet spot for wrist presence IMO.

Definitely enjoy this one!!!!!

Big congrats! It is a wonderful watch, well built and finished, great mvt IMHO, beautiful case and dial... plus you have the best color or my favorite of the X-Wind anyway! Great buy!! Ashford rules, I have bought several watches from them and had to deal with their CS group, always an outstanding experiencethumbsup.gif

Hamilton and Ashford make for a great WIS experience!

Congrats again! Wear it in good health!
