For 2011, the Magrette Regattare has gone with an internal rotating bezel.   So I decided to pick one up and check it out.

Here's a few quick pics ...  :)

Congrats! Love the Regattare, and a special take on the PAM hommage, with the internal rotating bezel. And, some very nice photos you got there, espec the lume-shot, me like!26.gif

Congrats!! The dial is super nice and clean! Love the inner bezel too!
I wish it was all brushed.
Wear it in good health!

Looks pretty good rvs ! ThumbsUp02.gif

It is a very nice, and cleanly implemented internal bezel design which I do like quite a bit (I like the color combination too!).

I agree with Brice's comment above, in that I would also prefer if it was an all-brushed finish...the polished finish on the case/lug top surface is throwing me a little bit, especially because the sides are brushed.  Or, maybe follow the bezel finish with brushed on top and polished on the sides...but that is all a very minor nit...overall a great looking piece, and the Lume looks really good to.thumbsup.gif

Thanks for the great pics, and enjoy this one!

Oooh, nice.  I think my next watch will be an internal bezel, and this one is definitely a contender.  The case looks very similar to a Moray but the dial is more dressy/refined, which is further enhanced by the polishing.  Looks great!

Was just looking at the specs on Magrette's website.  I wonder if they intend to offer an option for a Miyota 9015 at some point?  I'd pay extra to have that over the 8215, though the 8215 in my Moray was a fine, and very accurate, movement.

Thanks for all the kind remarks  ThumbsUp02.gif

Speaking of the part polished/brushed case combination, some of my friends have had a mixed response to this too.  I'm kinda used to this combination myself because of a Lum-tec watch I have that has a similar mixed finish/theme.

Maybe Magrette will implement Miyota 9015 movements into their future line-up, but for now the 8215 will have to do all the work subtlelaugh.gif
