Good Morning fellow mech junkies...
I had to send my 5508 back to CA, because it needed a bit of tweakage...supposedly with the "detente." The person I got it from sent it to me on the day he got it, and it needed 'something.' It was a difficult parting...
So, being on the bay warning list, for Roland Kemmner, I knew that I could pick up a clonish wonder...that would glow in the dark. Quickly, I clicked... Not so quickly, German non FedEx arrived... (5 days)

It's an incredible watch for the money... ETA 2824.. #10 out of 50
If you scream at me, I'll take more pics...but there are pics on the bay...
It's the same watch that's sold by another watchmaker in this country, but for less...under a different name. The US watchmaker may regulate the movement better, I don't know...

The 5508 just showed up, via cold FedEx truck...YAY!!! I'm not going to set the time, till the watch warms up, otherwise I risk getting moisture in the movement.

Have a great watch addicted day!!!bamby.gif

Si...it's an "hommage!"

At 403$ (that day, Euro conversion), with an ETA...and coming from Roland Kemmner, it's hard to go wrong!
