Just got back from five great days in Las Vegas with my Lady friend.  While there, we visited the Gold And Silver Pawn Shop that is home to the "Pawn Stars" show on the History Channel.  They had a case full of Rolexs out of Pawn that had prices close to full retail but this TurnOGraph caught my eye.  I've always liked this model and when I examined this one, I noticed it had a replacement, non Rolex band. They assured me that it had been opened by their jeweler and confirmed to be authentic otherwise. I was able to negotiate a reasonable price for that reason, I guess.  I didn't buy it as an investment but I guess I may keep my eye open for a genuine President band to complete the watch. I'll take better pictures when I get my camera set up later in the week, but here are a couple photos from the trip with me in front of the pawn shop and and the watch taken on the outside patio of Henesse's Pub on Fremont Street in old Las Vegas.

Nice pick-up! When I lived in Vegas, I’d stop in a Pawn Shop from time to time. When I did, I’d always wonder what the story was behind the items in the store.

If the items could talk, I bet there would be some interesting stories, as well as some not so interesting (for a better term).

Congrats Edgel on a sweet Datejust!...btw the Datejust is offered with the Oyster or the Jubilee bracelets...not sure if the bracelet on yours is a Rolex Oyster but it looks like a good fit imo...ThumbsUp02.gif

It's an Oyster copy, Oscar, and fits well but doesn't have the Crown on the clasp.  Looks OK on the watch but not the original bracelet. I think a Jubilee would be killer.  Thanks all my Buddy s.
