A new watch arrived today from Canadaboy10.gif, I was very surprised it only took only 4 days including the week end using Purolator [due to postal strike in Canada].ThumbsUp02.gif

I owned the blue PRS3 LE and had.. ahem.. flipped it to fund another one. I think Trent owns it actually. I missed the watch, its classic shape and dial as well as its perfect size/proportions. It is the sweet spot for my wrist. It is 42mm w/o crown, 46 with, and only about 12.5 mm thick with 22mm lugs. Good specs: ETA 2824 Incabloc, WR 300m, C3 superluminova, Sapphire with AR...

The case shape especially the lugs outer edges and crown guard is somewhat different from most diver cases I've owned. The lines and transitions from brushed to polished SS are very well done and add to the watch beauty IMO. But is it not overdone, it all flows real well together.

The dial outside of the hour and minute markers is very clean with only the brand "Precista" in a small and pleasant font and the small date window at 6 o'clock (which I happen to favor)ThumbsUp02.gif... The prior owner slightly modded it, replacing the stock black second hand with white rectangle towards the tip, with an all white second hand. I like the three white hands over the black dial.

The caseback is polished SS and all business, nothing fancy there, which is just fine by me. It comes from Timefactors with a bracelet but I bought mine used and the seller had sold it separately. From my experience with the blue LE, the bracelet was nice, solid, well finished with screw links. I may try to find one... Mine came with a black rubber strap and the Bremont GasGasBones green strap, which is quite cool!thumbsup.gif The strap it came on was fine except one side was a bit narrow within the lugs letting part of the spring bar show. So I replaced it with a NBR black rubber I had in the strap box. I actually like it better, simpler and better match for this clean watch I think. I am ordering a black/white stitching strap to dress it up at work and will try the watchodoo too.. just in case.dog smile.gif I just love playing with straps! The watch also had the original leather 2 watch case, cards, cloth and instructions/model info sheet.

I am very pleased with it and I think it'll see regular wrist time!Thumbsup3.gifBeow are a few cell phone Q&D's plus a stock photo.

Thank you for reading,

Brice

Hey Brice !

Big congrats to your great looking newbie ! bravo.gif

Really a good looking watch.

I think Eddie Platts makes a great job. His watches are always of great quality. They are very popular in Germany.

The dial is very clean and perfect readable. ThumbsUp02.gif

I think, the Retro Rubber Strap from Eddie will fit the watch perfectly.

I like it heaps, Brice. Big Congrats. The dial and hands are so easy to love. It's so ripe for an Isofrane, IMHO.

Although its on the small and thin side for me, I would make an exception for this brand and model. Enjoy it in good health amigo.

Looking good!
Morality...You flip them too fast: You don't give them the time to reflect your love in your eyes...

Great watch, Brice. I enjoy my LE in orange quite a bit. Your strap combos look good andyou can certainly have a  lot of fun changing them out, but did you get the bracelet? It's a beefy man bracelelt for sure. Enjoy it, keep it around and give it a chance...toon1.gif Thanks for taking the time to post a new arrival.

Really like all the elements on this one from the case, to the bezel, to the dial, to the hands...it all just works very well together to create a very classic and great looking piece!!! thumbsup.gif

The PRS3 is an excellent watch and relatively cheap too. Owned two of the blue LEs and I'm just about to buy another. Looks great on your Bremont strap.

Thank you everyone!

Here are some new shots of the PRS-3 on the black leather/white stitching form my Vortex. I wanted to try it on as I am ordering a new one just for the Precista. It looks great IMO and dresses it up a tad so I can wear it at the office. The black strap really helps bring out that dial/indices/hands contrast even more. Me likey :-)

Great looking Prescista Brice! Like it a lot, and looks sweet on the black w/white stitching. Completely agree that it makes the rest of the watch stand out. But, it`s very versatile, as your strap-frenzy shows:0)
