First off, thank you to those that expressed an interest in this watchThumbsUp02.gif as promised I will give a small review/overview as it still is fresh on the wrist.

As stated, this one was obtained from Marc at LI on a whim. I had agreed to purchase the Orient Marc had deeply discounted to 3T members. Marc mentioned he had this little gem he was going to discount and if I was interested. At the price offered, I had to besubtlelaugh.gif. I confirmed the size with Marc as I read everything from 37mm to 42mm. I guess we can start there, it is 42mm from 11 to 4, the surprise was that it is nearly 52mm from lug to lug so it fills my 7.5ish wrist nicely.

The Superior line ues the newer 4R16A 22 jewel movement. It does not hack or handwind so not sure how it is an improvement to the 7S. I'll have to report back on accuracy. It is an attractive movement with a signed rotor but nothing spectacular.

What I really liked about this watch was the case and dial. The case appears to be a 2 piece cradle design, but on closer inspection, looks like the lugs were welded to the case to give it that appearance. The dail and hands to me are gorgeous. The dial has a waffle texture with silver outlined and lumed markers and hands which give it a dressy yet sporty look. Lastly, I love the day and date feature with the day wheel being white on black and the day wheel black on white. Both nicely framed and easy to read. There is a fixed bezel attached with 4 screws which IMHO adds a nice look to the watch. Lastly, this one has a Saphire crystalthumbsup.gif

As mentioned, the bracelet is the only weak link and the 5 ATM WR rating. That said the bracelet is adequate and comfortable with a nice push button deployant.  It does work nicely with the watch though.

Well lets get to a few pictures. Thanks for taking the time.
