Got these two in recently. The Aristo Nightflight is a 44mm case with a SuperLuminova C-3 luminous dial. Rotating bezel with lume dot. Swiss ETA 2824-2 with date at 3:00. Sapphire Crystal. Type B dial markings in black REALLY stand out during the daytime. Very easy to read the time. Case has a very nicely done brushed finish.

The Vollmer Navigator Dial watch is no longer available. Found it as NOS. It features an ETA 2824-2 with Incabloc shock system, a polished 38.5mm case, no date (a plus for me) and it has Superluminova hands and dial markers. It is no doubt too small for most 3T'ers, but I really enjoy wearing it. It's a nice change up in size.

Yes, I am afraid the Buckeye decade of dominance over Michigan is over in football.

Can anybody share insight to the compass markings on the dial? Reminds me a bit of the Seiko Atlas, but that turned. What's the deal with this one?

Marc

Marc

Been awhile Marc but it is to be used with a Sextant and navigation charts as a solar compass. Knowing the Sun moves East to West you would alight to find true North. More to it but that is the basics.
