Received my Accutron from the ShopNBC. The quality is A#1 since it's made by a real watch manufacturer. Watch measures 36mm across but wears much larger due to the perfect square case design. Beautiful curved sapphire crystal w/ETA 2824.2. This for sure a keeper!!:D

Clasic watch that is the second watch that I wish I would have bought that I did not.  The first was the Auguste Raymond Unitas 6498.

Shopnbc is often referred to as "slop" or "slopnbc" due to their sloppy handling of customer orders (at times), sometimes shipping returned items as new, poor customer service support, and a myraid of other complaints to numerous to list. Some here aren't fond of J.S. either. So, many hung the tag "slop" on them and it has stuck.:dude:

G. how much were you able to pick up the Acc. for at slop.  It is $399 now.  I got to see it last night in Nashville and it is a really great watch.

Square cases are deceptive in size. A 36mm square or rectangular case is not small-- it will cover more wrist area than a 40mm round case.

Agreed, the Accutron looks much bigger than the 36mm case would suggest.:)
