This one had all the earmarks of a watch I would like. Its orange!! Anyway, another quartz diver, this one with Tritium tubes from Traser (now H3), which I will pound on this summer. Will get some beach duty tomorrow as we take the kids to one of our great state parks on Lake Michigan. I'll bet the water will be cold.

Anyhoo, couldn't pass on it being orange and called UnterWasser which strike my Germanic sensibility in the right way... Not from the Bay but from a private seller for a good price.

Forgot to mention this is a supposed LE of 500 with this being #376. Doesn't say that on the watch but on the papers which are in German.

Specs:

• Stainless steel case
• Sapphire crystal

• Water Resistant to 200 m / 660 ft.
• screwed down crown
• 45mm diameter
• One-direction rotating carbon bezel
• Swiss quartz movement with date window

 high-quality Rubber Strap

(cobbed from Bay)

Thanks O for the kind words and as for you Ken...you mechanical maven!! I know where you're coming from, and I hate to admit I have grabbed a couple quartzers as of late and have like it!!

That's right... I have enjoyed the get up and go, forget about the winder, tickety-tock, clickety clack of these quartzers.

I recently saw a member at WUS who had his ORSA PD gutted and an ETA fitted. Me thinks not!!

Great looking watch. I really like it. The strap is perfect for that design too. Does it have the 4-year battery or the 10-year?

It is a cool looking watch Pax.  I have a quartz gas tube watch and love it.  My job changed and the need for it is not as great but it is always kept in tip top shape.  The watch that I really like the most is still that square Tag cased watch that is a great design.  Hope you enjoy it!!!:D:D:D

Congrats Pax! That one I have been eyeing for a while but just could bring myself to pull the trigger cos of its price and it is a quartz. But still I like to have one in the future. :)

Meanwhile here is my ORANGE FEVER:), 2 were sold though!:( but I am going to find some replacement soon!;)

I haven't tried yellow but I would like to... I'm sure you could steer me in the right direction?

Now I fully understand the depth of your distaste for Inflicta!!

The strap is honking wide. I wish I knew the answer to that question. I don't see anything in the paperwork and think I could pick out "battery" in German. I guess time will tell...
