I like the cut of your jib Marc!! I've decided to follow the customer service path and see where I come out...

Funny how that damn Orient is calling me...Mako I beleive Zeb has dubbed it...any chance you'll be carrying M-Force Beasts??

thanks for the empathy!!

that friggin' sux.

Send the POS back and get your money back in your pocket - then buy something of quality.

There's a serious problem when they sell a watch AND winder for $140 bucks. And given that slop takes about 50% of the sale from the vendor, you do the math and tell me how much the pos is actually worth.

Sorry for my salty-speech too, but I watched the vostok-europe models on slop and got po'd at all the lies they tell about the watches.

Marc

Ha! Anglicized :P

Funny you should mention the M-Force beast. It's on my radar of 'watches to get'.

Right now I'm concentrating on getting some of the lower end Poljots ($175 price range). I hope to start getting these up over the weekend.

Thanks-

Marc

Now that the hissing and huffing is over :D, just send back for a credit to your bankcard. DO NOT try for one of the ones that "pop-up" after the big sale is over. Just get your money back and move on to something else.

As for DOA watches, I've had my share from shopnbc. But, it is the chance you take buying from a big TV outfit. That said, I have had other vendors ship DOA watches too. And none of them were Invicta's. :D

Don't get me started.:D You will get the same famous service from them no matter what you buy. It is way too risky and there is plenty of horror stories out there regarding their treatment of merchandise that you never really know what you are getting. I know for a fact that they resell items that have been returned because they were damaged, scratched, missing links, etc. I have received expensive watches that looked like they were used for a year. They will always refund your money and look for another sucker and that is how we are viewed, suckers. It really is not a good place to buy a watch. At least it was an SWI watch so Lior will take care of you if all else fails.

SHAME ON YOU for buying from SLOP and believing the JS-BS..................looks like you got the Corona Brown Eye instead of the Magico Brown dial!!! :D

That said and done..........I'm sorry it arrived DOA and that they screwed you!

The Corona Brown Eye hath returned from Florida. Recived my DOA Magico back from SEI today. I can't complain about the service. They received it n 8/3/2006 and I have it back today. Per SWI "one of the jewels was loose in the movement causing the gears not to register". I am keeping it as a momento and reminder of SlopNBC's modus operandi. I might even wear it from time to time.

BEHOLD THE CORONA BROWN EYE!!

I even got the bitchin' Magico etching in the pic:shock::shock::shock:
