Mark and Sean, this VIXA is a keeper!!! I love mine and bought another one exactly thesame and sold it later. Now I only have one.....mine is with sapphire crystal! hehehe....it is one of the first 100 produced, besides the sapphire my caseback is different too. :)

I agree Jacky!! In my world this is a keeper. I love the desighn with the dual crowns, contrasting bezel and sherbert dial. I remember you post regarding the sapphire crystals and wish I had one with such a crystal. Regardless I am quite pleased with mine and would never part with it. And at 48mm, these suckers are noticeable!!

The funny thing is this VIXA though at 48mm w/o crown, they do not wear so HUGE really cos their lug to lug are ok. I used to have a GLYCINE INCURSORE which is only 44mm(case size) but lug to lug stands at 54mm! That GLYCINE wears too big on my wrist compared to this!

I was very impressed by this VIXA that I went on to get the Chronograph of the same size! :) I have a total of 3 VIXA now, including the Commando LE. I am looking to expand my VIXA still!:)

Again I must agree with you. I have an Incursore at 46mm wghich you can see in the avatar I am using today. The Incursore wears much larger than the Vixa. The Vixa while substantial wears quite comfortably and that just rocks. I would love a Type 1 myself... (hint hint)

Two things that might make the Incurosre wears huge.... first it is the case and crystal, it is a VERY FLAT piece and the lugs are not curved. Second thing I can think of is maybe it is on bracelet instead of leather or rubber.

Have you tried to sla p aleather on the Incursore? I did not try when I had still had mine though.

Don't get me wrong. The Incursore is fine... just not as fine as the Vixa. I actually wore mine all summer on a waterproof Banda which was very sweet!!

Hey I forgot to mention my wrist is only 6 7/8"! :P But then, the VIXA much much better than the Incursore. I am sad that I sold the Incursore as it is a very NICE watch indeed! Mine was the Californai dial on bracelet. But then again, if it was too big for my wrist, it was better for it to make way for new watches! :P:P:P

Btw, that Banda strap is really 100% waterproof? Cool! But I thought the back of the strap looks like suede to me?!:? If it is waterproof, I might have to look into it and get one?! Hmmmmm.....

TIA!

The strap is sold as waterproof but you know how that goes. I have had it immersed with no ill affects.
Who grabbed your Cali dial Incursore??
