I'm not sure what to think...

The case or movement holder looks a bit rough at 11:00 in the picture with the caseback off. I am probably being super critical given the events of a week ago. I'm with Dave... glad it happened it retrospect.

Yes you are Paxsnoopy1.gifNice to see that it is a real ETA movement....at least the markings say so. BTW and for what its worth the watch dial is beautiful and I am pleased with mine.

That packaging is a stunner right up there with Corum Ha Ha.  The movement and I believe that Oldcrow and Johney P would more than likely say is the base ETA 2824-2, I did not look that hard because it was raining.  It lacks the plate markings of a full Swiss movement, and learn about shock jeweling everyone, the difference in KIF and Inca Block.  Which does this movement have?  I post the pics the same way every time because it shows as much of the important parts as possible in one shot with out removing the rotor which is an easy task, I just do not do it for the quick shots.

I will be fair the KIF uses 3 points of contact between the spring and the carrier and Inca Block uses 2.  The designs of both some times look similar but that is a good generalization.

Footnote: I have been wearing the watch and it feels pretty good and has a good presentation about it.  Lume markers are not the best, the lume on the hands are not bad though.  Does not compare to the VIXA, it sets high on the wrist and the torque that is felt is very perceivable, but then again it is not German so it can't be perfect.
