Arrived a week ago and I quickly changed the strap from a thick brown leather strap to a black silicon rubber strap from globalwatchband.

This was my first Swiss Army watch and I was amazed on the quality. Very solid brushed SS case with polished second layer bezel. It measures 42mm in diameter w/o the crown and with 21mm lug size. It has a screw down crown and pushers. Powered by famous 25 jewels Valjoux 7750 automatic movement.

Very nice one! I haven't seen that one before. Is it a new model or a previous one?

No, it's not a new model but it's not also an old model:D This is the Chrono Pro with model number 24160 and not all AD has this particular model.

Regardless, its one awesome watch. I like those screwdown pushers. It has that Sinn look to it.

Congrats Nando...  enjoy it!  I see it has the same, oddball, lug size like our Archimede's do.  Does global carry the odd sizes? or did you have to squeeze a 22mm into it?
Steve

Thanks Steve. The rubber strap is 22mm and it fits well on my swiss army by just squeezing a little:D

Ahh... rubber is the trick  - I found out that leather doesn't 'squeeze' that easily (tried fitting a 22mm black pilot strap onto 21mm lugs - not pretty )...
