As you know, I only collect dive watches and the bigger the better. One watch that I did not go after was the Ctiizen Promaster 1000m dive watch, primarily due to its cost. Recently, prices for this watch came down dramatically and I picked a LNIB Zilla. Now my problem was do I wear it with a strap, bracelet or Nato. I decided to contact my friend Shane Delaurian and asked him to make me a beast of a black widow strap to match the zilla.

When I first got Shane's black widow, my immediate reaction was that he had to kill at least 2 cows for the leather. It is so thick and massive. However, when all the pieces came together, the last one being today, the adapters were recived from Walt in Canada.

Let me tell you. The 1000m Zilla is a cool dive watch. With Shane's band, it is just bad ass.

I had to bend the push pins slightly, but the pins slid in fine.

Shane does the best straps anywhere! Your right about the price on the watch. It has been going down as of late. Maybe there is a new one in the works?

wcbartlett,

wow! nice watch, and nice strap! That strap is awesome. Amazing how when you get the right marriage with strap/watch-head, it makes a world a difference.
Can you PM me with shane's info for ordering? I'm sure these would look great on Panerai's too.....ever by Greg's Straps? Or Micah's?  All of them have the common theme of "big, bold, beefy" straps.

Thanks!

Not implying anything on the watches value. But its been a buyers market lately. A very good time to buy. My ad here has one thats in a huge case. Looks like it could hold my laptop. I'm wondering which citizen it is.
