The dial has almost a mirror finish, which, coupled with the domed acrylic crystal makes it really hard to get a decent picture.
This soviet era Luch has a 35mm gold plated ultra-thin case, containing a  gold plated 23 jewel Poljot cal. 2209 handwinding movement-- which is only about 2mm thick. Because of this, the case without the crystal is only 4mm thick-- the domed acrylic crystal adds another  3mm!  :D
