Sorry about the long posting but I had to share my new watch and how I got it.  All I can say is "I love my fiancee".  smile25.gifShe never understand my watch fetish (and still don't) but she is putting up with it ever since we met.

I sold my motorcycle and some of my watches to purchase the engagement ring for her (and she loves it).  I still remember the day I proposed to her. :-)

One of the watches I sold was a Breitling SuperOcean Chrono.  I love the watch but had to go.  Recently I sold some of my "cheap" watches to purchase a Fortis B-42 from Markus  since my Omega Speedmaster was in the shop for repair for past 3 months.   :P

Last weekend, we were out with some of my friends and one of my friends was wearing a Breitling SuperOcean Chrono.  Of course we talked about Breitling and different models Breitling offers.  I mentioned that if I had the money, I would buy a Blackbird.  Of course my fiancee, lisntening in the whole time, pointed at the watch my friend was wearing and asked me if that was the watch I had before.  I told her that it was and she asked me if I miss my Breitling.  "Hell yeah I miss my watch!":D

Well, my fiancee heard me mentioning the Blackbird in the past but I never though she actually paid attention.   Today was a perfect day.  She bought me a Brietling Blackbird!!!  She told me that no more watches after the blackbird and asked me to pick three watches and keep them.

So I picked the following:

1.  Breitling Blackbird (of course)
2.  Omega Speedmaster Professional
3.  Fortis B-42 Official Cosmonauts Chronograph

The blackbird is way out of my price arrange and actually I was looking to purchasing an used Chrono Avenger.

Rest of my watches will be on recycle section soon.  I'll continue to visit the site and read but i'll be retiring from watch buying....

First off, congrats on the Blackbird - looking forward to some pics.  Secondly, will be looking for those non-keepers to pop up on the sales forum!

Thanks guys!  I'm a very very happy man.     I guess my quest for used chrono avenger is over.

I'll be home next week and I'll post some pictures of the blackbird then.  snoopy1.gif
