I'm extremley interested in this watch but they are hard to find at jewelers to review. I am impressed with the quality and craftmanship but I'm concerned that the scale is on the small size given width and length, and many are wearing bigger case watches now. Is it on the small side and out of style at this point or would you reccomend me adding it to my collection. Thank you!

Truth be told you are looking at a nearly two year old post. I flipped the watch some time ago not so much because of the size but rather because it seemed a dress watch I didn't need or wear enough to justify letting it gather dust. Imho, the size was not an issue though I would think it might be if you are large wristed.

Thank you very much for the response. I just signed up to this forum and I'm a recent watch enthusiast as of the past 2 years. I have about 10 and growing, Hamiltons, Oris, Tag, Swiss Army, Omega, an Old Mitar solid Gold, it was my Dad's, invicta (but never again) I like understated class, as well as larger cases, but the non-descript appeal and what appears to be quality as well as Gevril being in the business since 1758, just sounded unique and not overly commercialized to me. Do you agree? Did you enjoy the weight and feel before flipping and is it a quality piece for the money, or is this company resting and holding onto past laurels? Also any tips on how to best use this site would be appreciated. I have never sold or traded watches, suggestions on best way of doing that would be appreciated also, very much a novice here but enjoy these little works of wonder!! My appreciation! I can tell you the build quality on the watch I had was top notch. I got a killer deal at a TJ Maxx so the watch was well worth what I paid. The best way to use this site? Well introduce yourself in the new member area and then start exploring and participating. Let's see you in the daily wrist check. We have a number of Gevril collectors who can give you more info on the brand if you mention it in your intro. In short, jump right in and have fun!;)
