Love the color combo on the Hammy GMTs. Enjoy the watch. They are all purpose watches.

Hi there, very nice aquisition.  This is my first post here, I've been a lurker for a while.

I'm a huge fan of Hammy's, having the X-Wind, Frogman Chrono, 42mm Field Chrono, and the Khaki GMT (like yours but black/silver).

One thing to watch with that watch is that the threads inside the crowns are aluminum (I think, or very soft steel), and I've seen a few instances of them wearing out quickly.  My GMT was bought used and only had a half a thread left which quickly wore out (bummer) so I'm in search of a new crown/stem or I have to send it in to Swatch Canada.  This usually happens on the main time setting crown as it gets used the most.  Be very careful and gentle when screwing/unscrewing the crowns to minimize wear.

Enjoy the great watch!!
