That's part of ETA's Fashionline. It is very fashionable! watch2.gifhand6.gif But the technical doc says: "Movements of this calibre can not be disassembled." The mfg doc says: "The movement can not be dismantled. The plates are made of synthetic materials and are assembled in a special process." It has 4 jewels. Doesn't that imply it would be difficult to repair? Have we reached the stage where repair of movements means replacement of movements? (I look to the experts on this!) The Watchlord wrote: EPRAY.

Considering the low cost of quartz movements...I would venture to say that, at least from the manufacturer's standpoint, it is always cheaper to repair than to replace!

Eeeb wrote: Eeeb...this is a quartz movement and not a mechanical/automatic...the G-10 is virtually bullettproof and as in most quartz movements are not repairable as they have no moving parts as in a a mechanical/automatic movement....so replacement if needed would be the route...I can say I have never had to do anything with a quartz movement other than replace the batteryhand6.gif The Watchlord wrote: EPRAY.
