I've had a couple OM's pass through my collection, but for one reason or another I flipped them quick or just really never bonded with them like I did the black version.

Recently, I've been hankering for another one, determined to stick with it until the orange either disgusts me once and for all or I finally succumb to orange dial nirvana, whichever comes first. ;)

Anyway, as soon as I pulled the trigger on the OM itself, I came across a picture of one with a 22mm Watchadoo modded at the ends to fit the Monster's 20mm lugs. Looked great, and I just happen to have a spare 22mm brushed Watchadoo in my watch box. That little extra width on the bracelet helps overhang the Monster's lugs and makes a world of difference IMHO.

Then I spotted this: (pic credit to watchworx uk)

OM on Chronissimo. Never would have considered that, but dang- I like it!

If the planets align in my favor and the shipping gods deem me worthy, the combo should be complete this Saturday.

So whaddya think?

Wow, that Chronissimo meets the OM's lugs just right.  (..and it's advertised to be waterproof as well!)

Who'd a thunk it?

OM's one of the greatest "value" watches on the planet!  ( ..the wife asks what on earth I'm up to when she catches me flipping the lights off to play w/ the lume.)  subtlelaugh.gif

Enjoy it!

I've also been wearing my BM on this kind of strap for awhile. The look is awesome.

Me neither. I don't typically associate the two, and tend to prefer divers on steel or rubber anyway.

Yet I can almost guarantee that nobody I'll ever encounter will point out that I'm wearing a diver on an aviator strap. And if someone does, I think I'll made a new friend!

Thanks for the comments fellas. hand6.gif

Here are a couple Monsters of mine:

Black Monster with a 22mm Watchadoo braclet with the end links filed to fit the 20mm lugs:

Black Monster with Orange Monster chapter ring. The band is a 22mm Thorton ribbed black rubber deployment band, notched to fit the 20mm lugs:

You can't go wrong with Monsters, fun watches. :D
