This is a couple weeks old but never got a proper introduction so here it is: CJ has had one of these for a while and I always thought it was a neat little beater. Well I couldn't resist any longer and grabbed one from Pokemonyu!! With CJ's help, I got it set up just as his is... Now I can fully emulate my hero!! 8203 Auto movment which doesn't hack but is hand windable and has a bi-directional winding rotor. Solid and sure, this thing is a great beater!! Love that Citizen Pax! hand6.gif Great lume dial, I was torn between that and the black and went with the black which is really deep, like ink. Citizen's 0054 and 0040 are the only watches I have ever seen with an 8:00 crown (and I got both of them now :D). What kind of strap is that? Looks cool! Cheers, Griff If you like the 0040, you'll like the 0054 too. I hesitated buying it for a long time because I had the 0040. I really shouldn't have waited, it is a great watch. Typical Citizen value plus titanium case equals a winner to me! :)

All paths lead to my true hero, Canadajo, CJ, my cuz... The strap wa a gift from him, but I am pretty certain he got it from Thornton watch at: http://www.thorntonwatch.com/product.sc?categoryId=2&productId=26 CJ will put any and everything on rubber and look good doing it!!

Thanks for the kind props cuz ..... it was a thortons green rubber and can be had for like 14 bucks ....I had another and put it on my 1000 meter Swiss Wenger green bezel watch also
