This baby has the old pocket watch movement inside the Eta 6497 with 17 Jewels.

It is squareish so from 3 to 9 it's about 48MM and is 18mm thick.

Curved case so sits fine on the wrist and have a string presents on the wrist.

Go ahead and send it to me when you tire of it.

The likely low end price for these will be at SAH other than maybe a pre-owned later.

http://www.shopathometv.com/home.jsp search for item number 25001682 they are now up to $899 with a list value of $3795

Wow that's a great snag, Dawg!! When that one came up in the newsletter from SAH I wanted so badly to jump on it but must admit to not having the cojones to pull it off. The watch is bold. I love the 6497 and the caseback treatment with viewing porthole!! The strap threw me off initially but I think it looks great on your wrist. Really a bold statement watch and I am certain the exceptional quality is built in.

Enjoy that montrous beast of a hand cranker. I hope the ticking doesn't keep you up at night...toon1.gif

Congrats buddy!!
