I've never watched too much of the extreme fighting but caught that Kimbo Slice take some dude out in seconds last week. Wasn't as brutal as I remember it being back in the day. Are there rules now?;)

Good lookin' out Hucky. May have to tune that in if I am around.

Use to watch that stuff all the time. But I guess I got burnt out on it. Have not bother looking in on any of it for a few years now. ;)

Use to love watching the smoker meets when I was in the Navy and was a bit of a bar room brawler myself. ;) LOL

Robbie is gonna kill Scott.  Unfotunately Kimbo is gonna have another fight end in seconds.  The guy he is fighting looks physically impressive but he sure loves to get ktfo'd.  And that is exactly what will happen.  Hopefully Gina Carano will finally lose.  Even though she is hot.  Oh and her dad is a former 9er.  But, she doesn't ever make weight and that is old.  Although it is kinda disturbing to watch women fight.  I don't know why, but, it is.  And they say strange things in the prefight interviews.  One of the girls fighting Carano said she was gonna put her to sleep although she would rather sleep with her she still was gonna put her to sleep.  If you have hdnet there are some good fights on right now.

Yes there are rules.  More of a real sport.  Although lately it seems that they want to promote "street fighters"  which is the wrong thing to do imo.  Kimbo for example.  Then they put him in there with people they know he can knock out in seconds.   Making it look like he is the baddest man on the planet.  Coming up from the streets.  pretty pathetic.

I gotta go, but like Hucky said....  Watch it.  Even though it isn't the best organization out there.  The better the ratings the more we will get to see fights for free.

Dont forget if you have Versus or VS you can catch the WEC card on Sunday Night

There is some good bouts here as well.

Watch Razor Rob, hes on a comeback after losing his belt to Jamie Varner, the guy he is fighting is a person he lost a decision to 6 years ago.

Cheers

It's hard to turn on the TV anymore without seeing fights from the UFC, IFL, Pride, WEC, etc.  I've been hooked on that stuff for a while now.  Thinking about getting into MMA fighting myself, but there aren't enough opportunities for overweight 60 year-old fighters.  Ha-ha!

I see from that web link that Brock Lesnar is scheduled to fight in UFC87 later this summer.  Has Lesnar fought since he got submitted by Frank Mir?

He has not fought other than training for the UFC since Frank, He was scheduled to fight Mark Coleman, another Vintage Figher who started out way back fighting in the UFC when they first began, also a world class wrestler, olympian etc...

Coleman Begged Dana for a shot at a comeback to make some money and as usual being the age he is, He Inured himself in training for this fight and ended up being on the injured list and now he will not fight Lesnar.

Heath Herring will replace Coleman  http://www.cagetoday.com/ufc-87-brock-lesnar-vs-heath-herring/

Heath I believe will tear Lesnar Apart in the stand up game, Im sure he has been working on his takedown defense but if he gets taken down it could be bad for him, but hes so tough I think he will win this match.

Cheers

I've never seen the other guy but I sure wouldn't bet against Lesnar.  The guy is so strong and explosive, plus his striking on the ground is murderous!  Mir was one lucky guy to have gotten Lesnar in that leg lock before his head fell off his shoulders!

Some good action and entertaining for the most part. My son is watching the DVR back and enjoying it.

However, Hucky I can never forgive you for exposing me to James Thompson and the most disgusting "ear" I have ever seen. That thing proved to be his downfall to because when it exploded the ref said no mas...

Too bad the title fight ended in a no contest. I think Smth could have continued given 5 minutes.

Thompson looks like Oger on that cartoon movie with mike meyers?

That ear was very gross.

That Scott smith Robbie lawler would have been close in the end.

Im looking forward to the Post Reports about all the injuries and Suspensions that the New jersey athletic commissions puts down.

When you get injured the athletic commission suspends you with no contact for a time period and also a doctors release.

You will find that after everyone of these fights, UFC, WEC, CBS etc.... Most all of these guys have broken noses, hands, feet etc... Its not very fun to be a Pro Fighter and hard to sustain a career of longevity.

Cheers
