I don't know about you guys but I always thought Tim Russert was a real professional.  He always struck me as objective and was one of the more balanced journalists NBC had.

I can't believe he passed so soon.  I'll  miss him.

Very young and surprising he passed away so suddenly. Of course he might be considered part of the so called liberal media but imho he was one of the more in tune talking heads practicing in this day and age.

Yea far to young. 58 is to early for anyone now days. His dad is in his late 80's.

And he did not pull punches. He called it as he saw it.

I know what you mean Pax.  I have no love of the liberal media.  Russert always seemed to be above the bias though and, like Skipdawg said, he called them as he saw them.  Too bad when a good man dies so young.

Sucks.....Didn't always agree with him but he was an icon in the media and will surely be missed.....
