Some of you may remember I put in an outdoor furnace last year. I heat about 5000 SQ feet with it. Its a woodburner. So far this winter I have gone through about 300 trees. What I do is get a logging truck load of trees delivered then I cut them into lengths I can handle. Last year I bought a Husqvarna 460, with a 60cc engine. Did a good job but took some time. Well about a month ago I bought this Husqvarna 395 XP professional series. Has 95cc engine and over 7hp. I have a 24 inch bar on it now, it will take up to a 36 inch. Man, I just zip through the trees now. Just have to respect the saw, it can do alot of damage. Just thought I would post this, dont know how many of you know whats up with saws. here are some pics of the brute and its baby brother.  Its baby brother  A side by side comparison.

That is a bad @ss saw right there!! I started burning wood last year but I refuse to buy anymore. I'm going to get a saw and start cutting downed trees on my neighbors 40 acre lot. Cool saw.

Cool saw. Thanks, I get whole trees delivered so it saves alot on the price. I just have to cut it to length. I have 50 acres of nothing but trees so, once I get some projects caught up around the house I am taking to the woods. When you get a saw get one bigger than you think you need. After that wind storm a few weeks ago I got to cut up some of the neighbors trees that fell in return for the wood. Nice thing about my outdoor furnace is I can even burn pine without worry. If you have any question when you are ready to get a saw let me know.
