Now they will say that he can't win a championship without Pau Gasol.
I missed Kevin Garnett in this years playoff a Celtics Lakers final would have been nice and after Orlando won the series against Cleveland I expected a little bit more from them. But Kobe did well and after the look on his face after Game 1 you just knew that he would make damn sure that the Lakers will win the championship. Great performances from Gasol, Odom and Ariza aswell in the final series.

After watching quite a bit of the playoff I would have given Pau the MVP for the championship series. He was the glue imho! Kudos to the Lakers though being a long suffering Bay Area fan of the Warriors I will always hold a grudge!

TWO STATES!!

I am not into basketball but congrats to the lakers fans.  I do like the way Kobe acted during the olympics.  Seems like a good guy.  BTW arent the Lakers originally from Minnesota?

Sorry to rain on the Parade--

2 million dollars for a Parade?
1 million paid by the City of LA --- The City which is Broke
1 million paid by the Lakers

After the winning game, there was Destruction of City and Public Property by so called Fans?  More Money for us LA Tax Payers to shell out.

Im sure Education will take another hit Financially to afford the 1 million the city has to pay.

Congratulations Lakers

I have followed the lakers since the last yrs of Jerry West.  In the last yr Kobe finally got it.  He finally learned to be a "BASKETBALL PLAYER".  He stoped worry about himself and started thinking about playing with his teamates.  Yes Pau Gasol is the reason we are champions.
