"NEW YORK - Swiss watch maker Tag Heuersaid it will spend the next few weeks assessing its relationship with golfer Tiger Woods.

The statement from the company Monday afternoon marked a less enthusiastic stance about the world's richest athlete, who endorses the company's watches, than earlier in the day.

That's when a spokeswoman told The Associated Press the company would continue with Woods, whom she called "the best in his domain."

The luxury watchmaker's new statement Monday says that because of Woods' indefinite leave from golf, it is examining its long-term relationship with him."

I think it is both, a friend of mine dated a tour regular for a couple years, I got to hang out with a few of them....like the commercial "These Guys are Good", it should be "These Guys Can Party" party.gif

Now A Dr. who treated Tiger and other athletes has been caught at the usa canada border with illegal enhancing drugs.  No signs that he aided tiger but its more news that tiger does not need.

Yep, Tiger can do what he want with his "club". He can even be gay: I don't really care... Another woman will be a millionaire after the divorcesubtlelaugh.gif
Tag-Heuer should maybe focus on car-racers like the old time...

I've told my golf foursome many times in the past 2 yrs that Tiger is juiced. If you look at his pictures over the past few yrs you will see him blow up and now he's deflated after his knee operation....His arms never matched his body....Lucky guess???? We'll see.....

Quite frankly, I've met Tiger, exchanged a few words with him and can tell you from personal experience that he is an arrogant POS!...I then refused to play in a foursome with him and chose Scott Hoch instead...a real gentleman!

Sounds like these sponsorships are less about talent and more about fame.  In  that case, I think I'm pretty famous.  Now I just need a couple million more to agree, and I can hawk sneakers and sport watches for a couple jillion.

Oh, wait, is Tiger Woods ability to play golf based on his ability to hide his personal affairs?  Seems as if Tag Heaur is less about fine timepieces and more about troublesome infidelity.  After all, if they DON'T drop Tiger Wood, then I will NEVER buy a Tag.

Gatoraid gone, Pepsico gone, Tag gone....like ships abandoning the sinking rat...Cadillac, pretty much gone, Nike "stands" behind him...sure...they just don't use his ads on TV....KHARMA for an arrogant AH!

Nobody is "firing" poor Tiger...they are just "reevaluating: their position!
