new computer, PC, of course.  Just for the hell of it I thought I would try a dual core chip so I got myself a nice Cooler Master Centurion case, slapped in a matching 550W power Supply, an AMD 64 X2 Dual Core Athlon 4200 CPU on an ECS/GeForce motherboard, Seagate 250GB SATA Hard Drive, 2GB of PC5300 RAM and a Samsung IDE 20X DVD-RW.  I've been using an Intel P4 2.4GHz machine for about 4 years, but the speed comparison is phenominal...this thing powers up at an unbelievable speed, loads programs like a chance and bring web sites up like I just upgraded to 3MB DSL and fed it steroids!....I am impressed...and at a total cost of $370 including XP Pro OS!

Mac users, please ignore!

Sounds great Ken been thinking I should build me a new one probably about Spring 2008 myself. These 2 have gotten allot of wear and tear and the one I'm on now is 5 years old. the other is 2 so should have a few years left in it.
