Hi all. I have a friend who's got a problem with Outlook Express 6.0 (no, its not me!!!!). It's one of those things where if I could see his computer, I could probably figure it out lickety split. Here's the question:

when you open an email, and click 'delete', outlook express automatically opens the next message. How do you get it to just return to the inbox? ? ?

I have Outlook 2003 and there is an option for this; I imagine there is one on O.E. 6.0; anybody help?

Thanks-
Marc

Hay my brain is working well enough to think of this.

Have him go to DSLReports.com look for the Microsoft forum and search it. Not sure but you may still be able to ask questions as a non-member too.

Some top notch MS folks have hung out there for like 8 years.

Sorry not together enough to trouble shoot myself. Even though I've been a MS geek for 13 years just can't do it right now.

Hope ya got this resolved. Probably something simple over looked. ;)

But to let you get the idea of how foggy brained I've been lately I forgot how to send email a few times with OE7 and I've been using it for about a year now. LOL :D

I used OE6 for several years. But at the moment don't even recall the differences. :?
