Back in the day this would have been all the rage, but today it just feels kinda 1980s Miami Vice.  What would you guys put on a Tag Heuer Classic 2000 to make it a little less "bling"?

I was thinking maybe a tan strap, a matte mesh or a Watchadoo, but your thoughts?  Even better if any of you have a watch with similar colour combination - would love to see what you've done with it.

Pics below:

Thanks everyone.
Jonathan

Man that's a tough one. I don't think I would change a thing. The two tone case begs for its matching bracelet imho.

Looks good as is....no changes. I am always partial to being faithful to the original look. Original looks have been researched with focus groups and have been proven to work. I'd stay as is, amigohand6.gif. It's a beautiful combo already.

You might beable to pull of a dark brown or a orange/tan leather strap on it. But maybe a timefactor retro band might work on it.

Focus groups! Now you're speaking my language.  I hear you all about leaving it as is...just have an issue with the gold links.  Maybe I'll try snag an all S/S one off the 'bay.  For some reason these models look a bit off on leather straps.

I found an idea at Anders' store today.  A Rios croc-print that should decrease the bling factor a little!
