Hi guys,

I just saw this strap over on Don Ginsler's site, Hirsch Trieste.  Looks like a real nice strap for my O7 G-1 (darn bracelet is either too loose or tight).  I was wondering if any of you have tried one.  It is a "cut to fit" with double deployant.

Thanks!
Griff

Is that cloth covered rubber? or kevlar?  the 'cut to fit' should make it perfect then. :dude:

Here is what Don says on the PMWF sales corner:

Hirsch Trieste rubber deployant models with leather liner and nylon insert.
It is a pricey strap, $70, that's why I wanted to ask around before pulling the trigger.
Here is a pic on a Panny:

Cheers,
Griff

Looks comfortable and from the way it looks to be built it should be durable.

I wasn't sure what this would look like until you posted the pic with a watch on it, Griff. I think its very macho and looks extremely rugged.

After two months of sitting on the fence I finally pulled the trigger on this strap and put it on my Hammy chrono.

It is one of the most comfortable straps I have ever worn! I had the Hammy on a Watch Prince rubber covered leather ridged strap which was quite nice but the Trieste kept popping up on the radar. I am really glad I bought this strap. It took me less than 5 minutes to size, unlike other cut to fit rubber straps, and it fits perfectly hand6.gif

They come in 20, 22 and 24mm :D

Cheers,
Griff

Cool Griff. Show us a pic when you get a chance. I think that might look good on a Russian hand cranker I have sitting here that I don't wear much do to not liking the stiff leather strap. LOL :D

I'll ask my better half (especially when it comes to photos!) to get a wrist shot, my pics are terrible!
