I would like to give an update to those waiting on the final run of the Orsa/3T LE.There were 2 isues that have slowed the completion of this watch...#1 the datewheels that came for the eta 2824-2 were not compatable with the date at 6 or even at 4 and to have them modded as in the 1st ten would have taken up to 6 months to complete....also the dials were incomplete unknown to both of us until they arrived from the modder to the new assembler and very unfortunate but would have taken an equal amount of time to send to another modder for completeion.Berg stepped up above and beyond to resolve these issues and with the aid of another well known watchmaker was able to get datewheels needed but the date window had to be moved to the 4 position......in order to accomadate the movements and datewheels a decision had to be made quickly as to not drag this project out any longer than necceasary so Berg took the initiative along with my advice and had his dial maker make 15 new complete dials with the date at 4 which took 30 days to complete. The dials are now complete and I have not only seen the original drawings which were made from the original Orsa/3T LE but the actual completed dials which I am happy to say are absolutely beautiful! The dials are on there way to the assembler here in the U.S and although there is not a definite completion time they are in the final steps of completion...assembly followed by QC! Berg deserves a round of applause imho as I do not know of any manufacturer who would have taken these steps to insure the completion of Orsa/3T LE which has been an experience to remember for all involved! Thank You Berg...you are a awesome friend of 3T!yourock.gif

Now for the Big question to those receiving and already owning one of these very limited watches.Since the 1st run had the date at 6 and a green second hand and  this 2nd run will have the date at 4 and a white second hand ...would you like me to make two seperate Orsa 3T/LE certs? ...the 1st being #1-10 for the watches with dates at 6/green seconds and a second set of certs #1-15 for those at 4/white seconds? or just keep it at #1-25....The decision will be based on your opinions and advice as owners of this watch and will be truly appreciated as well as hopefully being a unanimous decsion which everyone will be happy with.Thank You for your patience 3T/ WIS!thankyou.gif

...would you like me to make two seperate Orsa 3T/LE certs? ...the 1st being #1-10 for the watches with dates at 6/green seconds and a second set of certs #1-15 for those at 4/white seconds? or just keep it at #1-25....

Thanks for the heads-up O ! hand6.gif

S'amazing the minor details that can knock a tiny little run of basically "prototype" watches off track.  Glad it's all coming together, but like 'Dawg sez.. the anticipation's a big part of the fun!

Certificates... Hmmm... I'm real happy to let you work that one out O.  Looks like a no lose proposition to me either way.  I'll bet the "original 10" owners will have a firmer preference.  All sounds good to me though!

Wu-WOOO !

Big O,

As the owner of #2...I think it should remain 1/25 as originally planned...there should be no "elitism" beyond owning the ORSA 3T....That said, my concern is to those watches bought by an unscrupulous few, who immediately violated their commitment to 3T and sold them at a profit to non-3T members.  It was a violation of a commitment and, imo, they should not be considered as part of the 3T LE issue.

First... A big thanks to Berg for his excellent customer service. I can't wait to receive my watch!

As for the certs, I would leave that to the senior members of this forum. Either decision would be okay with me.

I'd prefer the different numberings/certificates, as there are two different models.
