got a bit bored at work today so I decided to remove the caseback off my Eintausend ....what you are about to see is 100% quality that is not even found in watches costing thousands more! hand6.gif

once the caseback was removed I was pleased to see the eta 2824-2...where is it you say?....completely encased in a anti-magnetic case within the already iron clad, double o-ring case which makes this diver uber special and anti-magnetic to the highest specs...not to mention the added shock resistancy!....Kenzo is known to be a master of details when it comes to his watches and this once again only proves his attention to detail and sparing no expense when building a high quality dive watch and passing it on to us! hand6.gif

Once the top of the movement shroud was removed we can see the top grade silver eta 2824-2 adjusted in 5 positions!....don't be fooled by claims from other companies as the proof is in the pudding and there is no doubt that Kenzo only uses the very best 100% Swiss etas available from Swatch Group/ETA ...this is a top grade eta with ball bearing rotor, glucydor balance wheel and incabloc shock with full keeper (sorry for the poor pics, only had my point and shoot at work) ...there is some plate decoration which tells me this is not just an ordinary top grade eta and may have some elabore parts shared and a pleasant surprise....the Eintausend is a super dive watch imho just on looks and lume alone but it's not just whats outside that counts....it's what beats inside that makes a watch TICK and what makes the Kazimon Zeitmessinstrumente tick is Kenzo...a master at his craft! hand6.gif

Well, that's the way of making a boring day at work to be fun! ThumbsUp02.gif

Well done Oscar, it's indeed impressive to see the amount of details put into this timepiece (and other Kasimon's watches).  I have a lot of esteem for that brand and mainly because of you...  Once I'm finished getting the affordable watches I have on my short list, there is still a few ones, I will definitely be looking at Kasimon for a more serious watch.  What I like about the brand is that it's like nothing else, just the case-back key tells you you're in a different league but without the outrageous price tag.  They are expensive watches, but with what you're showing today, I think we can agree that it's cheap for what you get.

Thanks for sharing and great pics too!

TY guys....the Eintausend is a well made watch that could stand up to any conditions imho and is a true tool diver which can be worn as a dress diver as well especially with all the bezel options!watch2.gif

....I'll take some pics of the engine in the Funfhundert which also uses a simliar movement shroud and is easily as tough and good looking as the Eintausend yet much lighter in it's titanium case hand6.gif

The only timepiece more beautiful than that is the Earth itself!

And it looks like you got lucky with the serial number, too ;)

I pre-ordered a 1500 a few days ago. You just confirmed that I made a good choice going with Kazimon.

Kazim says the watch should be ready in about 3 weeks. I will post some pics when it gets here.
