Great pics Skip (better than mine as you can see)...  looks alot like the one in my N1 which is a 2426 I believe.  The only diff is the day/night indicator? :?

Skip, when did they change the movement in these?  The K-3 used to carry the 31 jewel 2416 movement...

Not sure. I just looked at my gray dial black PVD and it has the same movement you have there. The Gray PVD is 1 of 999 where the blue and ss I have shown here is 1 of 3000. So 2 batches at least slightly different. ;)

My K3 has the 31 jewel movement too. From ze batch of 999, too.

Its interesting that the case back says 31 jewels, while the movement is marked 32 jewels. Did they just throw in an extra for a spare? Kind of like the extra button sewn to the tail on some shirts.subtlelaugh.gif

All I can come to a conclusion on with them is the 999 is a 1st generation and the 3000 a 2ed generation of the watch.

That is odd Edgel... maybe thats why they reissued it, to correct the error?? :shock:

Dang!! You are right Edgel. My caseback says 31 while my movement says 32!! I am taking this thing back to TJs right now!!
